Heat pipes are a closed heat pipe containing a small amount of liquid, which is a very efficient transporter of heat. With an encapsulated evaporation and condensation process, the heat is transferred from the heat source to a cooler some distance away. Heat pipes can also be used to increase dispersion and thermal conductivity, by being integrated into the base plate of a heat sink. Heat pipes are usually made of copper and use water as the liquid.
Heat pipes are a good solution in cases of high heat output, when there is a lack of space, for weight reduction or where the air flow is limited.
We offer a large standard range of heat pipes – both round and flat.
