Batteries are split into primary (non-rechargeable) and secondary (rechargeable) batteries. Both types store energy chemically. A primary battery releases less energy over a slightly longer period, but can store a fairly large amount. A rechargeable battery can be recharged, a process that takes quite a long time and needs to be performed above 0°C.
If it is possible to replace the battery in an application, a primary battery can be a cost-effective approach.
We can offer most of the available standard sizes for batteries on the market. When it comes to design, we also have a wide range, from prismatic cells (rectangular) to cylindrical cells (round) to button cells (round and flat).
