Henkel’s range includes a number of practical double syringes with two-component materials that are dispensed manually and mixed in mixing tubes.

Epoxy adhesives are mainly used to deliver high load transfer capacity and are used instead of mechanical joining methods. Two parts that are joined with a rigid adhesive can be considered to be structurally coupled. Mechanical properties such as high strength, high modulus and high adhesion have been shown to be effective for customer applications in demanding industries, such as the aerospace and automotive sectors.

Silicone adhesives are mainly chosen for their ability to elastically absorb and/or compensate for dynamic stresses, in addition to the load transfer capacity of the bonded assembly. In addition to their elastic properties, many of Henkel’s elastic adhesives have a high inherent strength (cohesion) and a relatively high modulus, resulting in friction-locked joints that also have elastic properties.
