Suitable for clinical and aggressive environments, rugged keyboards are designed to withstand aggressive substances and harsh environments. They are available in two variants, with a rubber surface or in glass. They are available in a standard qwerty layout with programmable keys.
The keyboards can easily be cleaned with disinfectant and the pressure on the keys is permanent. They have acoustic feedback and the sensitivity of the keys is adjustable. Two status lights (NUM and CAPS) are also programmable. They are Windows, Linux, DOS and MAC compatible.
SIK2500 are rubberised keyboards with an IP65 rating. They have red backlit keys for use in environments where there is limited lighting. The keyboard is shockproof and can withstand >1 million keystrokes per key. Available in black and white as standard.
Hospitouch has a glass surface that allows easy wiping. It is specially designed for medical requirements. It is possible to vandal-proof the keyboard by adjusting the thickness of the glass plate. Pressure and colour as desired. The keyboard has an integrated touchpad.
