Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS), or pulsed power supply, is a converter of electrical energy that works by means of a fast, electronically controlled switch chopping up the input voltage into short, high frequency pules.
These pulses are stored in a capacitor, and this entire process is controlled by a control circuit that continuously measures and adjusts switching to obtain the desired output voltage. Because the input voltage is chopped up into short pulses, a great deal of interference is created. This must be filtered to ensure that the output voltage is clean. This is a cost-effective solution that takes up relatively little space in the application.

We also develop customised SMPS transformers in addition to these properties.
