Suppliers: Henkel, Wacker Silicones
Lubricants are primarily intended to reduce friction between two surfaces that slide/roll against each other. Other demands can also be placed on a lubricant, such as sealing capacity, corrosion protection, thermal conductivity, etc.
Our lubricating pastes are silicone-based. Some materials are specially adapted for high-temperature applications or situations where resistance to moisture, high temperatures and chemicals is required.
We offer products for:
WACKER® silicone paste P 250 is opaque, of medium consistency and slightly thixotropic,
with good values as regards electrical insulation, dielectric constant and dielectric strength.
Parts that are coated with Paste P 250 become water-repellent, resulting in some protection against corrosion.
Paste AP
Opaque to whitish paste of medium consistency, good values as regards electrical insulation, dielectric constant and dielectric strength. Only very little penetration of silicone oil into the adjacent silicone rubber. Due to this low penetration, the silicone rubber’s lubricating properties are retained for an extended period.
Chemplex SI 400 M
Ageing-resistant lithium grease based on a special methyl phenyl silicone oil with excellent high temperature properties. Used in lightly to normally loaded plain and roller bearings, e.g. in electric motors, fan bearings, driers, control equipment, domestic appliances, control surfaces, links and conveyor chains with a low load. Chemplex SI 400 Medium is suitable for plastic/metal material pairings.
