Epoxy

Epoxy potting materials provide the highest mechanical strength and excellent adhesion.  
This also means that they are the hardest and least flexible of our materials.  
Epoxy materials are usually suitable for working temperatures of around -40°C to 130°C (although there are materials with both lower and higher temperature ranges). 

Epoxy potting materials are mainly used for applications in harsh environments where component protection is required against corrosive chemicals, engine oils and as a mechanical tamper-proof layer. There are also lightweight materials for the aerospace industry. 

These materials can largely be adapted to the required manufacturing process and end product, by combining the epoxy base with various hardeners. For example, long or short working life, curing at different temperatures and over different times, different temperature resistance and thermal conductivity in the end product, etc.
