Air heaters - PTC

PTC air heaters are resistance heaters with fins with a large surface area for the homogeneous heating of air flows. They can achieve an output of up to 3 kW, depending on type, and cannot overheat thanks to the PTC effect (read more about PTC here). V-shaped or Delta-shaped heating fins allow homogeneous heat distribution and a low pressure drop. The insulated HRP version has greater resistance against vibrations, dirt and moisture, and is suitable for harsh environmental conditions.

The application options for PTC air heaters are almost limitless. Thanks to its modular design with PTC stones in various rows, lengths and quantities, each solution can be easily customised as required. This flexibility, combined with matching accessories – such as mounting frames, casings and temperature limiters – allows us to find a suitable solution for every customer. Air heaters are most commonly used as pre- or post-heaters in air conditioning and ventilation (HVAC) systems, but also serve as cabin heaters in special vehicles or as control cabinet heaters in electrical enclosures.
