Flexible heating solutions are thin, lightweight elements that are made for precise heating through direct contact with solid surfaces.
Our flexible heating solutions consist of a heating coil embedded in a flexible material, usually silicone or Kapton foil (polyimide).
Flexible heating solutions can be used for a variety of applications, such as catering boxes, battery heating, electronics, telecommunications, military and aerospace equipment, laboratory equipment, liquid or gas systems, photographic and optical equipment, etc.

Wire-wound heaters
Wire-wound heaters are the optimal choice for low-volume production, as no tooling is required for manufacturing. This type of heater can be customised for a great many different applications.
•    Considerable potential to customise shape, dimensions, voltage and power
•    Flexible and lightweight
•    Maximum dimensions per sheet: 940 x 3000 mm
•    Thickness: From 1.1 mm to 3.0 mm
•    Temperature range: -60°C to +250°C
•    UL and VDE approval

Etched foil heaters
This type of heater is based on a printed heating coil made of etched foil. This is a very efficient manufacturing process that is well suited for high volumes. Heat distribution is significantly better than wire-wound heaters, as the heating coil can be made wider and tighter. This allows you to achieve a higher power output in a smaller area as well as very fast heating. This type of heater can be customised for a great many different applications.
•    Considerable potential to customise shape, dimensions, voltage and power
•    Flexible and lightweight
•    Maximum dimensions per sheet: 595 x 2500 mm
•    Thickness: From 0.8 mm to 3.0 mm
•    Temperature range: -60°C to +230°C

Kapton heaters®
Kapton® (polyimide) is a thin, flexible and semi-transparent material that is ideal for applications that require fast and efficient heat transfer. Due to the material’s natural resilience, these heaters are suitable in harsh environments. This type of heater can be customised for a great many different applications.
•    Ozone, weather and chemical resistant
•    Fast and efficient heat transfer
•    Thin and lightweight
•    Maximum dimensions per sheet: 600 x 1000 mm
•    Thickness: From 0.1 to 0.2 mm
•    Temperature range: -269°C to +260°C

Spiral heaters
Spiral heaters have been specially designed to fit pipelines. They are robust and easy to install, making them the perfect solution for pipelines with small diameters.
•    Flexible and lightweight
•    UL approval available
•    Standard length: from 205 mm to 1020 mm
•    Size (diameter): From Ø6.35 mm to Ø12.7 mm (other sizes available on request)
•    Temperature range -60°C to +200°C

Pre-formed heaters
Flexible heaters can be supplied pre-formed and adapted to the application, in order to facilitate installation and optimise the contact surface for the best heat conduction.  This type of heater can be customised for a great many different applications.
•    Can be manufactured as wire or foil heaters
•    UL, VDE-approved
•    Size (diameter): From Ø10 mm to Ø200 mm
•    Thickness: From 1.5 mm to 2.2 mm
•    Temperature range: -60°C to +260°C

Foam-insulated heating solutions
Insulating foam can be used as an additional option with our silicone heaters. It provides highly efficient thermal insulation to reduce heat loss in the application. We also offer shaped insulation foam separately to fit T-sections, flanges, valves and pipes.
•    Fireproof
•    Protection against dirt
•    Water-repellent
•    Easy installation
•    Various attachment options
•    Supplied separately or bound to the heater
•    Temperature range: -60°C to +230°C
•    Energy savings on average 63%

Heating cables
Heating cables are useful in a wide range of applications, especially to avoid condensation and frost formation or to prevent liquids from freezing.
We have various types of heating cable that can be customised depending on the application.

Monoexit cable
This type of heating cable can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as refrigerators/cold storage units, refrigerated counters, ventilation units and aquariums/terrariums. The cable has both the conductors (in/out) at one end, while the other end is closed by means of vulcanisation. This facilitates use fully submerged in water, as the closed end is completely waterproof. Also used in applications where separate connections are not possible.
•    Insulation with PVC or silicone
•    Can be supplied with metal braid for extra protection for the cable
•    Thermostat as an accessory
•    Can be designed with non-heated sections
•    Maximum power: 60 W/m
•    Maximum temperature: +200°C

Compressor heaters
This heater has primarily been developed to heat the crankcase in a compressor, where the oil needs to be heated to ensure high efficiency and durability for the compressor. The compressor heater consists of a heating cable with silicone insulation, mounted on an adjustable stainless steel hose clamp. Supplied with a PVC power cable for earthing (standard length 1 m).
•    Easy installation
•    Customised to specific needs

Standard heating cable
Extremely flexible and adaptable to complex shapes, allowing it to be used in many applications. The cable can have integrated non-heated sections, eliminating splices over the entire length of the cable. Made with resistive wire wound around a fibreglass core and insulated with a PVC or silicone casing.
•    Power up to 60 W/m
•    Maximum temperature: +200°C
•    Can be supplied with metal braid for extra protection for the cable
•    Supplied on a reel or in cut lengths as required.

Heating cable with constant power
This type of heating cable is suitable for all applications where a constant power output is required along the entire length. The production technology for this cable makes it possible to cut the cable into different lengths at specific points, normally located 50 cm apart. The cable is made of two insulated silicone cables that are alternately stripped every 50 cm. The resistive wire is wound around and forms a parallel connection between the two cables. A silicone outer casing ensures flexibility, strength and high electrical insulation.
•    Power up to 60 W/m
•    Maximum temperature: +200°C
•    Can be supplied with metal braid for extra protection for the cable
